On Tuesday, November 29th, the Precita Valley Neighbors community will come together for 24 hours of giving to support Precita Valley Neighbors on #GivingTuesday.
Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 to address the fundraising projects for San Francisco Park Alliance nonprofits groups such as Precita Valley Neighbors. Last year alone, over 35 million people across the country participated in Giving Tuesday!
Precita Valley Neighbors has been part of Giving Tuesday for the last five years, and we’ve surpassed our goal every year. We know that with your support, this year will be no different. Thanks to three generous neighbors, your donations will be matched up to $3,000!
Last year we were awarded a Community Challenge Grant for the community to design and install the Butterfly Mural in the Children’s Playground! Our community showed up a to create a magnificent mural of our migration journey!
This year, we are committed to repainting the Children’s Playground with magnificent colors that compliment the Butterfly Mural!
